'05 FE450E

Hi folks!

Was going to buy an '07 Husky, but the deal fell through, so now have my eye on an '05 FE450E. Owner claims that it's only done 2,000km, which seems kind of odd given that it's 4 years old and has a long range tanke fitted.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on problems/things to look for with this model?

the owner would may have provided the dealer with the hours and service done for the first year to maintain warranty. Find out what which dealer sold it and see if he is happy for you to review the first year's service log?

There was a recall/update bulletin for 2005 models to re-torque the primary gear and check the torque limiter as some were defective (torque limiters). Check with your dealer and have them check your VIN# to see if yours was affected by the recall . You can also go to husaberg.com and check for recalls/updates for your bike.
