05 FC550 Engine temperature?

Hi All!

I Just finished rebuilding my bike and i added this KOSO water gauge on it. I was just wondering whats the "safe-zone" to ride it in hot summer days? Below 120C ? When should i get worried and turn the bike off.?

I'm interested to hear other opinions here too... I have an 02 FC550 with a TrailTech Vaport temp gauge in the left side rad hose (location of your temp sensor is important to this discussion too!).

Once my temp gets over 100C I start looking for ways to cool it down (hit puddles, ride faster, whatever) but I really don't like to let it go over 110C. I may be worried for no reason... maybe 120C is just fine??

Any other opinions?
