04 mod husa 650,the fuel mixture is to lean,what to do?

hello

i`m not very good in english but i have a problem with my berg,

i have a 2004 husaberg fe650.the bike is orginal with orginal husaberg exhaust system and orginal jetting.but the spark plug is white and the bike is backfiering(pang pang when i let go of the trottle)

is it dangerous for the motor when the plug is white,can i blow the motor or somthing like that?

what shall i do to get the fuel mixture rigth?

welcome to UHE, hope you enjoy it here and do ask questions. go into the doc and look for your answers fella. there's a lot there.

2004 MODEL or 2004 REGISTERED? the 2003 models had dell orto and SEM ignition and the 2004 had kokusan ignition and keihin carb.

let us know this difference first and if you put an after market pipe on etc

the bike is a 2004 model road registered bike.the bike is 100%orginal.the pipe is a orginal husaberg pipe.

How Many Screws Hold The Stator Cover On? 3 Or 4? The Stators On The Right Hand Side Of The Engine.
If Its The Later Then The Plug Will Always Look Very White

4 screws hold the stator cover.i`m not very good in english.the engine has running for 3 hr since engine rebuild.the plug was chokolade brown before the engine rebuild .the carburettor adjustment is the same as when the plug was chokolade brown.so is it posible that when the engine was rebuild that the workshop has dine somthing wrong with my ignition?

kez: i have the carb at the richest setting.but the plug is stil white,so is it somthing wrong with my ignition.

the bike runs good,but the plug is white.is it anyting to be afraid of`?

If it is backfiring when you let go of the throttle, it probably is due to a leak in the exhaust headers where they attach to the cylinder head or where the header pipes connect to the rest of the exhaust pipe (muffler). These connections need to be sealed with a high temperature silicone during assembly to the bike.
