Guys,
Just fitting a fan kit to my 550 and with the fan securely in place and aplace to install an in line thermo stat thank sto pointers from some fuorum members, I started to (over a cold beer) try to figure which way I was going to power the fan. I'm fitting a KTM X-CW kit which has all req'd goodies....anyways
So I'm scanning around to look for a solid power source when I come up a small plug that has a Red/yellow tracer and a brown wire, now the plug just happens to be a perfect shape / match to the incoming power plug for my fan kit....further it just happens to be sticking out in the exact right spot to plug straight in, it comes out just behind the radiator from the loom and you'd swear it may be an aux power plug.....fantastic I think and celebrate by reaching for another beer....so
Quick question to those that may know....has anyone else found this little plug of hope that may in fact save me a bunch of work....? can't figure out what may have been plugged into it....next step will be to fire up the bile and check for constant power source and if so happy days....just thought I'd ask for some input.
