Looking at the spec of the 04 model, it having a full leccy boot, has anyone tried upgrading their earlier model bike (mines an 02 650) by putting the YTZ 7S battery on it? If so, firstly does it alter the electric start to be able to start from cold? Where can you get these batteries from other than through Husaberg, as in the UK they cost £60-70!! Must be a cheaper source available?
My current battery wont hold its charge at all and with it plugged into the optimate it wont register past the 3rd bar, so want to know whether to replace with standard or the newer battery.
