I would really appreciate if any owners of the 04/05 bikes could advise me what their owners manual recommends as replacement times for the counter balancer bearings, counter balancer intermediate shaft bearings and rocker arms. I wish to compare these to the 02 recommendation of 50 hour replacement intervals for the FE models
Also, part.nos. for the 04/05 pieces as above would be great too, and is the counter balancer intermediate shaft bearing still an SKF 61905 2RS ?
Thanks guys.

At Husaberg web page you can down load the parts manual, the workshop manual and the owners manual. You have most of the information there.

I have yet to witness an auxiliary shaft bearing failure in and of itself. It is of my opinion you are fretting over a non issue.

Regarding the lower end:
The balance unit is indeed a source of concern as is proper main bearing installation. I endorse balance removal, crankshaft counerweight addition and main bearing alignment.

Top end:

Valves, camshaft and springs.

Timing chain replacement is a requirement as is the use of a quality engine oil.

Best Regards,
Dale
