REAR SUSPENSION: Off road.
The Husaberg motorcycle is delivered with an
adjustable shock absorber from WP. For a
maximum performance it needs to be adjusted
according to the riding conditions and the rider's
weight and preferences. The shock absorber
is pre-adjusted from the factory as follows:
Compression damping:
Adjustment knob low speed (Fig. 11D-2) in the
15th position from the inner, most clockwise,
position.
Adjustment knob high speed (Fig. 11D-1) two
full revolutions (+- 0.5) from the inner, most
clockwise, position.
Rebound damping:
Adjustment screw (Fig. 11E-1) in 25th position
from the bottom, most clockwise position.
+ = more damping / - = less damping

if you are on about sag numbers well the race sag is between 90 and 105mm but 85 to 100mm for ours. so that's the difference between wheels free of the ground and then the same points measured with you sat on it in your gear and ligtly balancing with your index fnger against a wall.
my 12 year old neice is always checking my sag and she says "you fat bazterd! you fat bazterd! you ate all the pies". try and get to 100mm or even 95mm sag as they handle better.
another thing to check. when on the paddock stand: flick the rear wheel up and down whilst feeling the top and bottom heim beairings. if worn they will wreck your numbers.
finally, if you have more than 4mm preload on the spring you could get another spring. i weiigh 200 and have the biggest that WP do: the PDS4. so if you go for a bigger spring - this will have to be the one.

i mean that the shock that shows in the manual is different
than the one thats on the 02?
i cant seem to locate the manual in the down load section.
