I`m sorry to inform everyone that my 2002 Husaberg Fe501s died today...

I was driving along, irritated afther trying to kick start it over 30 times.
suddenly a nasty noice filled the air and I almost lost all power, also stopped when i clutched..., tryed to drive a little bit to reach a bus stop, when the eingine stopped/locked...
engine is totally locked!!!

help!?

tnx... but a newer engine would be preffered....
would there be any rebuild with a 550 ccm engine, or is it just "bolt-on and drive"...!?

The only thing difference in the parts book is the ignition coil.

mm ok...

I dismounted the engine today, and open the left side panel.

it seems that the bearing located in the lower left corner has "EXPLOTED!"
bearing-balls everywhere, probably also inside the engine, so it has to be splitted. this is the bearing for the crankshaft, am I right?
dont know if the left side panel is undamaged.

Will give up the engine for a overhaul in aprox 2 weeks.

Is there any thing else that should be changed at the same time as the engine splitting?

the starter engine was just spinning before, when the engine was cold, for instance... couldnt find anything wrong with the "free-whell" when I checked it by hand, but should it be changed anywa? expencive`??
