02 FE400 Inlet Valves can i use KTM or some other brand

They want $142 per inlet valve from Berg OZ.

I think they are 35mm.

If someone can help me out with info or parts in OZ that would be good.

You can check the dimensions of the KTM valves by refering to the Kibblewhite catalogue.....www.blackdiamondvalves.com

Who did you ring for the price? i found powerhouse motorcycles sold the exhaust valves for my fc501 for cheaper than another shops supposed cost price. it was still over $100 a valve though.

ktm run 35mm inlets as well. however i've never actually found it if they fit. good luck.

when i bought my 03 400 it came with the bill for a recent engine rebuild the previous owner had given it.
1 of the itmes was a replacement ktm valve.
whether it was actually ktm valve or just came in a ktm box i don't know but the one valve has a slightly recessed valve retainer the same as ktms whilst the other 3 are standard berg.

Well i got a call from the guys who are building my motor and it turns out i need to get inlet valves too, 99 fc501, i found them for $82 and the guides for $27, how much is it costing you to get them made?

It cost me $65 Aus per inlet valve.
