One of my seals is leaking, so it's time to give the forks a service. Does anybody have a suggestion for what to use as a diy seals driver?

a 4"long piece of pvc pipe, cut in half longways and filed with a chamfer on the inside to sit on the outside of the seal, held together with a hose clamp. i drive it with a piece of pipe. works a treat, as taffy would say!

I use a proper tool now but for yearsd I snipped through the old seal on one side and then stretched it open and got it on and around the fork leg, then close it again and hit it with a rubber mallet.

regards
