not from the states mate. just not worth sending it what with the time it takes etc and wnyway it's a wrecked one i'd take not a good one. that cam will be a '53' i should think and still worth a drink to someone in oregon.

Hey Taffy, it is an option if you want it. The cam has some scoring on one of the lobes, but other wise is OK. I would say it is a prime candidate for a weld-up and re-grind. I was thinking of sending it off to Lineawever, but the bike runs so good with the 05 cam, I haven't felt the need yet. Leave it open as an option. (if time were not an issue)

Question, why would you want the old 'bad' cam anyway?

well when you have a standard cam it is still worth £10-£20 and of use. the cost of regrind has to go against this, this cam that still goes ok.

but if you have a knackered cam that is going nowhere and worth nothing to nobody then it makes the value of having it welded and reground to say LX1 or LX2 spec so much more worthwhile!

at least that's how i view it anyway?
