Akra header photo's

Hi,

So I'm looking at getting an Akrapovic Header for my 2012 FE 390.

Has anyone got any photo's of one installed on there bike? How well do they fit up?

Do they get in the way of the radiator hose's or anything?

Any photo's and information would be great!

The FMF titanium header bomb will fit with the Akra muffler and is a bit cheaper.
Another option is good - there are pictures here -

I have the opposite, Akro header with FMF silencer. Everything fits fine except I had to notch the Eline CF skid plate a small amount. I like the FMF silencer better cause I can easily add or remove a DB reducer or/and a spark arrestor in it with just one allen head screw.

The problem is I can get a Akrapovic Header for the same price it'd cost me to import a Megabomb header from the USA as I live in Australia. Also I've never heard of the FMF having a midpipe?

This is the only one I can find on Ebay:

Doesn't say anything about a Midpipe?

I'd really like to see some photo's of a Akra header installed.

The Akra header is just the first 30cm pipe part from exhaust port, the mid pipe remains stock. I don't think that is gonna add much, other than maybe few db's quieter exhaust.

FMF is full header + mid pipe combo and comes in ti or stainless. I have ti FMF system with akra slip-on, and the weight reduction is pretty nice. Still stock mapping so power wise can't say much but low to mid torque is greatly increased and top end pull seems better with quicker revving. Bike runs now super lean with dna filter + hole in the seat, so it needs to be dyno tuned badly.
