I dont think there have been some tires from them shipped over but,nsman said:Has anyone in Sweden ever tried a set of Marcel Fournier or Charlie Beatiie pro built ice race tires?

Yes, there was a few riders last winter that had these studs, we call them coldcutters.
The result was thats its on our 3km track approx 3-4sek slower than "Finndubb", what you see on my bike, but faster than the "enduro studs".
We are around 5-7sec faster than enduro studed tires, they slide more and dont have near the same tracktion.
The ones who had coldcutters last winter have changed to "finndubb" for this year.
There is also a few riders that uses hardend spax wood screws, it works very well, specially when there is powder left on the surface. But we try to keep the ice surface as clean as possible.
