BOSS has made it from the dealer show in Salt Lake (what a treat to ride the 09's!) and as of this Wednesday morning is in Las Vegas and going to be converting the dual sport back into his race bike. The chase vehicles will be arriving this morning, with one more tomorrow and everyone is excited. I believe he said he was over 1200 miles into it so far and the Berg is running strong! He's very excited to be in Vegas and seeing his buddies from home there for pit support, things couldn't be better.

Awesome!!!!!

Glad to here all is going well and safe. Good luck in the race. I know w have only been aquintances sinsce December but I am really rooting you on and hope the new family has a great time!!!

Rick and his crew will be getting up at 3am Friday morning to drive to the start of the Vegas to Reno sixty some miles away. The course is very beat up this year with many people pre-running it and having a record turn out. Rick starts second in his class and is so excited i hope he sleeps good tonight. He is well hydrated and his trusty HUSY is ready to go. Pin er' ears back babe!

I hope BOSS is okay and went on to finish the race. Heck, maybe he saved it!?!?!?

Yea, I hope he came out ok. Looks like a precarious position. Interesting pic too, like someone was waiting by desert woops taking pictures as bikes went by. Wonder how fast he was going?

That's an incredible picture Logjump! I was gonna let him tell ya in his own words......but hell, after seeing that, who needs words? He's a bit sore and ended up doing irreparable damage concerning the use of the clutch, but after a few St. Pauli Girls this afternoon, i'm sure he'll be right back in it by tomorrow.......... afternoon......i think. He'll never remember his knee and calf is swollen. But no, he didn't save that one.

I'm just glad he didn't get hurt too bad.

you can't keep a good man down!

that photo must make it to the pinnacle of the husa hall of great bike photos!

looks as if this is one crash that needs no bench racing exagerating.
best of all he's in one piece.

Boss,
Are you sure that the race wasn't run on an active bombing and missle range?

From the looks of the large particulate matter arcing from the rear of your motorcycle, it looks like a shell took out the rear of your bike!

At least you were holding on trying to save it. That picture is definitely past the point of no return. Classic shot--Hope you are OK!

I'm kinda wondering if the photographer had some sort of explosive set up for an unsuspecting BOSS. Kinda curious that the camera just happened to be set up at the right place/right time.

Epic shot regardless. I'm thinking the BOSS shop will have a full size poster hanging from the wall very soon.

Awsome pic, I could see a poster of that hanging in my Garage! Hey Boss! Looks like a money maker there! Glad to hear your OK. Boy, what a guy has to go thru to make a few bucks!

BOSS will give his all just for some husaberg publicity.. :D

Looks like a nasty get off for sure, I am very glad to hear Rick is alright. Thanks for the updates Tammi.

Rick,

It happens only to fast riders, check out my get off last year.

Talk about takin' one for the team! Glad to hear boss is ok. That's definitely a shot for the ages!

Hey breatheren, just wanted to say that everything is ok for me & the bike only
has a hole in clutch line & scratched set of hand guards!Guess i make a good pillow.
The bike was working great with not even a gasket or weep hole leak! 1320 mi.
from home & me think's i found the only unexploded warhead in nevada!

Its to bad that it ended so soon,The fun was just about to start for the mighty fe650.

We had started 18th & got around 3 riders with two just in front of me,some of the
deepest silt I'v ever seen for the last 4 or 5 miles. Well don't need to say much more
after seeing that horrible photo! Try harder next time guy's

Try harder? 8O You have produced the worlds greatest Husaberg get-off photo!
