5kg lighter frame.
Then we will see if its more ridgid.

We got the idea when we looked at the BBR Husaberg from 1999/2000, and thought that we could do the same, but better since we didnt move the kickstart shaft to the right side ect ect, as they did at BBR.
As they wrote- nearly every piece on the engine broke at some time, and a dozen ignitions later.
Now the engine is relieble so its just down to time and money.

Husaberg 670cc

Now its coming together.

And as you all know the Husaberg history, the first Husaberg was RED.

Dark garage and a mobile telephone camera, who have seen its best days,
it do not get any better.

Wait until it will see the sun out on the race track, then we will also have the feedback if its possible to ride the thing.

Thomas -> For the ones of us that know the guy behind the name on the number plate... This bike is not made for him to race in the Swe-champs is it ??? That would be soooo cool 8)

This bike will enter the Swedish Championship asap, we will test ride it tomorrow in a place called Gaddered, if it works well we will enter it at first round in Falkenberg/Swden.

We need a light bike, because the rider behind the no plate is heavy.

Hehe, yeah. Kenneth isn't one of the jockey style guys but he seems to do great anyway :D

I'll see you in Falkenberg then maybe!?

If Thomas himself doesn't post any pics of the bike I promise to do so myself :)

Sorry, but i will not be present at the first round of the championship. I have to work at My Adventure, since i also have bills to pay.

Graphixs are now on the bike. Photo still with mobile phone camera, but i hope some one will post some better after the race weekend.

Hey you are actually serious about entering this bike in a race - AWESOME !!!

I'll take lots of pics and put them on display here for everyone to see :D

The 2 struts on this aluminium frame are perimetrical around the carb, but not around the tank. The aluminium frame is supposed to be stiffer than the stock chrome moly frame and a lot lighter.

Impossible to get it through the MOT though. The vehicle identity is in the frame and if you replace the frame they will consider it a completely different bike.

Also I think it is impossible to race it too since it is not a Husaberg but something completely different and thus probably not homologated. Unless you don't tell anyone...

Hi.
We have had a few of the Ghost alu frames and had no problem racing them, even to get them thrue vehicle identification.
Before when you had a broken frame and need to replace it, you bought a new and transfered the serial no. Today when you buy a frame from Husaberg it comes with the correct serial no.
In 2002 we had no problems with this.
One of the big manufactors of aftermarket frames, BBR should not exist if there was a issue.
