Besides the color, what good are they for, and what's the difference with good old automotive hose available at the auto part store or in a quality hardware store like Ace in the States?

Hey Moto - What about yellow ones?

You gotta go the Bling!

Bling for me would be a Husaberg with an engine that does not leak.

I agree LeFrog - all the bling in the world can't cover up the oil/coolant stains on bike and workshop floor ..............

Motobits,
I know that I would get a set of your pre-formed hoses. I've been using the Goodyear Hi-miler blue hose, but it will kink going into the waterpump if care is not exercised when cutting the hose to make the bend. Blue non-thermostat.

Can't you use a heat gun to help bend the hose?

LeFrog,
I have not tried to affect a bend using a heat gun, but would not be pre-disposed to risk some kind of damage to the hose that may cause catastrophic failure particularly since much of my riding is done in very remote (hot!) desert areas.

I am all for ingenuity and custom modifications, but why continue to bother trying to modify something when a finished product is available that should be superior? Saving money is a commendable motive, but so is reliability.
