hehe, kind of disappointing that Husaberg now only carries KTM badges on it. In fact, I would guess that it has more KTM badging than actual KTM's ;)

thanks,

Oh, Look at the brakes on that bike. Never seen that on a supermoto before. Well, I guess it was just a matter of time..

Kelsow,

That is evil.....

a few day ago and that was the info.

Like I said the bike will be presented as a prototype, but actually that will be the bike for sale.

Maybe a few changes but that is all.

and yes engine upside down or flat, kind a single boxer pointing front!!!

hope is true, I don´t find any mechanical problem in theory¡¡¡¡

Yup, the EICMA in Milan 6-11 November will show the prototype. EICMA-linky.
Don't know if the prototype will be on display the entire time but we sure hope so...

The USD-engine rica-roel is talking about is probably the leaning cylinder we have been talking about for quite some time now. If leaning means 45 or 90 degrees I have no idea but it sure will be a big step ahead regarding development.

O.K. this post is driving me nuts (and no I don't have a steering wheel in my crotch!). I have been secretly developing the next generation of Husaberg here in sunny Bend,Oregon, the sweeden thing is just to throw you off. KTM ...yeh what ever. The real work is happening in bendbergs palacial estates (two car garage0. Now I don't have the mechanical mastery of say a Dale Lineaweaver, nor do I own a dyno (like I would know what to do with it if I had one), But Husaberg has entrusted with me the development of the new alluminum frame horizontal engine 09 model. The details...125cc air/oil cooled single, horsepower..like we care..it rips..I hope. This photo is a proto type model and is not done yet. the seating has been set up for the small people of the world and will be rather cramped for the big guys. I hope you know I'm gonna get fired for this! But you guys are worth it! Man this hurts, not like jumping on a bicycle with the seat missing, but it hurts.

plus quick release front end and collapsable rear.

I'm going to do that exact same thing in one month when picking up my new bike at DCR :)

@Bendberg

Anyone forcing you to attend this thread? I mean on one hand it is only rumors. But for me it helps keeping my head held high to keep up with HBG. Cause i want something new and i´m pretty disappointed with the present situation on the sm market. Currently no one on the market is offering what i´m searching for. So why not putting some hope in HBG. And in one month we´ll see how far our speculations become reality. But before that day we should talk about what we´ve heard to see how close rumors can be.

cypher, you uk people need to import some real vans!

Ned, gas is expensive in Europe, and parking your vehicle can be complicated or expensive.

Now, you have to be nice because it seems to me his mini van is French made.

Vegard:

Im planning a trip around end of november, så give me a call at +45 75838500 during officehours..

Hey celly76, do you not have a sense of humor? I am as excited as the next guy for the next generation of Husaberg. I was just having FUN, you do remember FUN, right! Lighten up, and enjoy what we have here. :D :lol:

My sources say it's a rear engine with modified suspension and it just plain flies.

@bendberg

I would say i do have humor but didn´t realise your irony.

But let me put some more oil in the fire. Some dealers have taken part at trainings for the coming injection system. Originally HBG wanted to sell the bike in 08 but KTM has no injection on their bikes, so they forced HBG to wait one more year. Money rules the world. They are going to show the finished bike to the public in august 2008 i was told. Not talking about a prototype. The dealer i talked to wasn´t happy about the injection. He currently is looking for spare parts to remove the injection from the new KTM LC 4 690 to give this engine more torque and power.
