12 hours at starvation ridge two 3rds!!

So i raced the open am class with two teamates, everyone(or most) had a team of four. we places third in our class and 11th over all. i got a 6th overall start and was only 22 seconds behind 1st after the first lap, but both of my teamtes crashed so we lost some time there and ended up with 3rd.

i'm super stoked cause this was my second races ever and i did way better than i thought i would. i've been riding trails for ever, just never got into the race thing.my 06 fe450 was steller no problems, one oil and filter change and ran perfect!! clocked 115 miles ten laps.

they had a pro photographer that got some killer shot i'll post em soon.

the other third was a 17 year old kid that rode iron man on his 07 fe450 and placed third, i talked to his dad and he said they had no issues and that they were having a blast. keep in mind that that was only three hours into the race...... i'm sure he was ready to be done 6 hours later

I would just like to say that I did have a blast. 12 hours is a LONG TIME, but I loved all of it!! We ran it 3rd all day but in the end I was passed and finished in 4th. I was loving the night section and if I wasn't so tired it would have had more fun, but it was a great day!!

You guys looked great out there though. Next time I think I will find a team!!
