Hey Bruce! Good to find you on here. It's actually both. The 400 integrated it's self into a few bergs. The 470 did have a counter balancer bearing out contacting the crank was the noise you heared. I Initially had reassembled it without a balancer assembly and o1 cam but that didn't last long, had quite the vibration buzz to it, even with a mako360 and flexx bars.Which bike is this?
Second round, I determined i liked the bike so it got a plated 03' frame, adjustable 08' tripples, 05' forks, the 60mm 400 bottom end with CB that was in great shape, the 100mm 470 top with a 53 cam and it's the cats meow.
The 400 has definitely not gone to waist as many of its parts, swing arm, shock, exhaust, kick starter gear assembly, radiator have kept my other 400 and 501 alive.
I sure appreciate the deal on both units and I definitely wouldn't be logging the berg miles with out them.
