2001 Fe501 - No Spark

Hello all!

I recently picked up a 2001 fe501, and it had no wiring harness and the old stator had been removed, as it had a big chunk taken out of it. The previous owner raced it, so it had the starter motor and battery removed for weight.
I purchased this stator as a replacement:
Stator Coil For Husaberg FE400E FE501E FE650E FS400E FS600E FS650E FX501E 99-03 | eBay

And I've created a simple harness to try and get it to spark, as seen in my crude drawing. I have the 3 yellow wires connected to the rectifier and I'm measuring a voltage from the red and black wires when I kick the bike. I connected the red, black, and green wires to the SEM ignition module. The ignition module has 3 more wires, a red (orange?), black, and white wire. The black wire was already connected to ground, but I'm having trouble figuring out what the red/orange or the white wire should go to. I figure they went to a kill switch, but from the wiring diagrams of similar years, it looks like the red/orange wire should connect to the output of the rectifier, but I can't figure out what to connect the white wire to.

I've tried combinations of that white wire to ground, floating, and connecting it to the red/orange wire, with no success. At this point I'm not sure if it's that wiring or the ICU. I've added a diagram of my simplified wiring harness that I've got hooked up right now to try and get spark.

first of all i got taken even bigger than you. Alibaba about 4 years ago. the code is XQ-359 and they do NOT work. Because I started swearing at the seller in China in pretty short order, i lost my case and these people ars still selling them. they don't work.

In your diagram, the orange off the I.M must go to a kill switch that can obviouly be grounded to kill the engine. The rectifier isn't needed and the red coming out nees to permanently ground. you've got to get rid of that charging energy. the other way is the three yellow wires straight to earth.

Sorry! next time, buy from a reputable dealer and stop with the Micky mousing! (101252 on my web shop is what you need!)

Thanks for the reply. That's too bad that I bought a faulty knock-off stator. It did fit nicely and the resistances measure correctly, but I guess you live and learn.

For your stator, it looks like this is the correct link?: 101252 - R25027201 25020201 25028501 Stator - Fits Models 1999-2003, Taffmeisters

And I assume that you ship to the United States?

Edit: And would my SEM ICU still likely be good? Or does that usually get taken out by the faulty stator as well?

yes 101252 is the code and yes I send to the USA and your I.M will be fine. Put it this way, if it is kaputt, it was kaputt before!
