Hello Everyone,

I have a 2007 Husaberg FS650e and stumbled upon an issue that I am confused about. My berg started leaking a little bit of oil near a tiny hole where the water pump propeller is. I know there are two seals - one from the oil side and one from the water side.
When I opened the side there was a seal behind the ball bearing #63 from the below manual, however, I do not believe the seal is the one marked #65 as it seemed different to me.

Does anyone know if this is the seal that should lay behind the bearing or it is a different one? If it is a different one can anybody tell me which is the exact part?

Thanks y'all!

65 is not a shaft seal. But an o-ring that sits behind the big clutch cover (where the water jacket is).
You are most likely looking for the seal of 63,this is a special bearing (6201) with a seal.
It was sold as one part,so the seal isn´t available separately.
It´s also a misconception of yours that the seal behind the bearing is used for coolant purposes,as it´s sealing towards oil.
The small shaft seal 10x18x4 is sealing towards coolant and the bearing is sealing towards oil.
Hope that helps?

The bearing / seal is number 63 in the diagram but does not show the seal that is attached to the bearing. That part has been discontinued. Options would include:
Remove the bearing/seal, clean the gunk behind the seal and reinstall.
Purchase a new side cover which includes the bearing/seal ( I think)
Purchase a Taffmeisters replacement bearing that does not contain the seal. A hole must be drilled somewhere according to his website. Contact him for clarification.

Water Pump Outer Bearing (Polyamide) NO LONGER AVAILABLE Suitable For All Models 2004-2008 see photos of modification on Taffmeisters Facebook page **This is a 6201 C3 bearing with a thicker seal to keep the grease in. We think you'll need to drill a vertical hole of 2.5mm. Drill bit 2.5x95mm long OEM NUMBERS; 06250620..

FYI When servicing the water pump there is also an o-ring that go's on the water pump shaft which is also known as the counterbalancer shaft in the parts diagram.

Thank you for the answers, guys. I will keep you updated with my findings and what I did to resolve it.

So I replaced the ball bearing with SKF 6201-2Z model, however, the oil leak was not fixed. Actually, it started leaking more than before.
If anybody has a detailed explanation on how I can fix this, I am open to suggestions.
Thank you!

I have been able to install this part when it came and it finished the job. There is now no leakage.
Thank you all for the suggestions.
