FE 390 - Clutch Master Cylinder

I’m currently figuring out why the clutch on my FE 390 won’t disengage. Logically bleeding the system was one of the first steps to go…however little bubbles kept coming from the reservoir no matter what I did. Bleeding back and forth, pumping the lever, all the same.
Finally I took the complete master cylinder apart and found some pretty bad surface corrosion on the inside of the piston housing.
Has anyone tried to rework this?
As an alternative, can anyone direct me to a good replacement (complete master cylinder unit)…except for the original assembly?

I believe the standard unit is 9mm bore, the later Brembo unit was 9.5mm It should be possible to bore out with cheap brake hone to 9.5 and use aftermarket (All Balls) rebuild kit to replace. Or try to find later brembo master, I reckon it would work better as it would move more fluid and release better than standard, which will ALWAYS drag. Maybe just try to hone first- hard to tell how bad it is from image

Indeed, it’s not easy taking a picture of the actual state.
Mine is already a 9.5 bore, so that’s then no option.
I ended up with ordering a complete new master now. Will hopefully be good for at least another 13 years.
