Hi there
looking at turning a 570 into an adventure bike possibly?
any advice would be appreciated
also best place to buy original bike parts (do they still make them?)
New plastics, handle bar fat bar pad (any used ones for sale?)
I'm based in Australia buying from the states would be no problem

I've had the same idea for the last two years...here in the states, used 'bergs are expensive and hard to find that aren't all used up...I believe parts were only guaranteed available for ten years after the 70 degrees were discontinued (2012) but they do share many common parts with the other KTMs...I've heard that the engines are tough and that you can extend oil change intervals to that of modern dual sport bikes if you use a high grade oil filter, synthetic oil, and add an oil cooler (2,500 - 3,000 miles instead of 600 as recommended)...I'm still looking for a good one...

These carry plenty of oil. Synthetic will push the oil change out further.

Most parts are KTM. The whole front end is changeable with the likes of an EXC. Wheels, brakes, swingarm etc. Even the transmission is the same as the EXC. complete cyl head is EXC.

Plastics and graphics can be purchased from the likes of Scrubdesigns.

Perfect base for an ADV bike. Turn the subframe tank into 4 litre fuel tank. Safari add on tank for the front. Fit a cush drive rear wheel or run the Mox sprocket. Upgrade the headlight with a LED unit off Aliexpress. Will fit the headlight mask. Add an additional couple of LED spots.8C7BF98F-A81E-4098-AEB6-59B981737B0E.jpeg

Is there any kind of rear luggage rack available that will work with the polymer subframe and rear (70 degree or homemade conversion) fuel tank?
