2006 Husaberg 450, Rebuilt Rally Light - LED Headlight issue

Hi all.
I rebuilt my 2006 450 to a Rally light bike and mounted two LED headlights. due to the way the generator powers the lights i have a weird issue on how the power flows to the headlights?
That means.
In low beam on idle the lights flickers with very little power, the more i rev the engine the more stable and bright the light is.
The weird part is that on idle with high beam the light is more stable and doesn't flicker as much, but the more revs i add the weaker the lights get?
Rear light is ok all the time.

Is there a clever way i can fix this or do i need to bypass the system and connect the headlights directly to the battery?
Figured the only thing the battery really is for is the starter.

Allso, these lights have a Halo ring that currently is on all the time but barly visible when low revs in low beam, i plan to connect them as my driving lights with a switch, but could that be a part of my problem?
(Don't really understand why that should matter?)

First of all, splendid choice of bikes, loved the Cagiva in their time. Your generator voltage regulation might be your problem since LED-lights draws less power the alternator does not generate enough voltage for them. Two choices I would explore to solve this:
1 add a resistor/ bulb to load the alternator sufficiently
2 switch lights over battery and assure they are of when the engine is not running/battery not loading
 
Remove the headlight ring and lens (they are attached) from the headlight assembly. Gently turn and pull the light bulb from the back of the ring and install the lens. Disconnect the light bulb from its connection.
Install a new light bulb and insert it into the installation. Turn this to lock. Replace the headlight ring and lens adjustment and replace the bolts. Last week I also bought myself new lamps when I went for explosion-proof wall packs. I will change it shortly because summer is approaching and the lighting in the forest is changing gradually.

Another question for you - is the generator on your bike native? I often met such a problem with guys who ride Chinese motorcycles or buy Chinese parts. In choosing LED bulbs, I fully support you. LEDs never power 100% - that's why manufacturers write only the rated power (to determine the size of the crystal) and the real power consumed. In Watts, it is generally not correct to compare light fluxes. LEDs are still the best now, both for a motorcycle and in the form of LED strips with dimmable lighting.
