While on a ride, my flywheel magnets broke into smithereens and I am in search for a replacement flywheel and, possibly, stator.
I have to warn you about the graphic nature of the images and yes, what you will see is off a running bike. No hiccups, kick-starts like a dream and runs smoothly.
The bike is a '00 FC501, but at some point I got a stator off another berg. Not sure if it was an FE or an FS. So, what does that look like?
I take it I can use a flywheel and stator from FE, right?
My stator might still be OK, haven't tested it yet. Good thing is I found a flywheel locally, which I can try on, but I have also found a set, which I intend to buy.
