Were there two different methods of fuel delivery for the FE570?

There is no way the fuel block provided is going to mate what is on this bike. The power connection would be totally covered.

Are 3 and 4 in the parts breakdown (left photo) two different methods?

Middle photo is from Safari.

Right photo is the bike in question.

Just realized the middle photo is of the aft bottom part of the tank. There is is level sensor back there but I do not remember seeing anything on the very bottom.

Look at the bottom of your tank, not the back of it. Remove the tank as it doesn't take long.

Ok ... got all that sorted. Used the template to drill 5/16" hole. Used a step bit in the drill press and made a PERFECT hole. I was so proud. Template was WRONG. Rather than play games with a dremel tool I tool the block to a local maching shop to have a little material uniformly removed. Block is mounted and leak checks good.

Next issue. Owner wants to upgade the fuel pump. Getting these lines off without f%^&ing anything up.
