so timing chain and head gasket came today from DCR .. super quick delivery and spot on parts.
and now .... IT'S ALIVE !! started right up once i'd pulled some fuel through ! running smooth !

guys .. what oil do you use to flush and bleed the clutch ... mineral oil ... but can i use 10w fork oil ?

I use "2.5wt" hydraulic fluid for suspension and clutch

thanks bush, ... i had some mineral oil in the garage i forgot i had ...

anyway .. took her out on the maiden voyage today for about 10 miles ... ran smooth as a babies bum ... just a few cosmetic things to do now ... like ... new front fender, .. grips & levers plus clean the black paint off the rear wheel
