so my berg **** it's piston .. so while stripping the engine .. i thought id do some other work ... like paint the frame up as its scabby .. then a few other bits while i rebuild it .. anyway here's some pics to start off.

so, sent the frame to my friend who is a shot blaster ... and will have it back tomorrow so i can re-paint it .. and all for the cost of a create of fosters

i know, i'm looking forward to doing the rebuild, i'm intending to replace the plastics ... been looking for white but had no luck so far ... if i can find white pplastics i will also do a white frame.

I have a white front mudguard for the flat track going spare if you want carl ? its been chopped at the back to fit too

hey bob, na no luck for white plastics, .. i did think about ktm plastics .. but lost interest ... so thought i'd go stealth and so with black intead haha ...

so ... i want to put some ASV unbreakable clutch and front brake lever, im finding it difficult to find any, or similar but copies ... anyone out there know where i can get them,... or if any specific year KTM ones fit ?

so thought id give another quick photo of my progress on my total rebuild.

so far list of things done
-frame blasted & powder coated
-new shock and swing arm bearings
-new head stock bearings
-all new wheel bearings
-new wossner piston
-liner re-plated
-new regina cam chain
-loom stripped and rebuilt wire by wire

list still to be done.
-grips
-folding levers
-rear light replacement
-electric world stator
-upgrade carb
-upgrade ignition unit

and anything else i can think of along the way.
