OEM bigend bearing has 18 rollers, 4mm dia and 15.6mm wide.

Which doesn't seem to make sense, because the hotrod bigend bore is actually smaller than OEM... but I measured them twice
Today I opened my engine - FE 450 E '04.
I look and there's con rod Prox 03.6423 and Wossner piston 8593D.
I bought motorcycle with this set. I drove him 10mth.
Everything worked great.
Strangely I did not notice that the piston was below the cylinder surface. A should be about 1mm?
I am writing this just for information.

got stupid slow internet here ATM hacker33 maybe check the piston part numbers that go with the newer rod number
if they are the same as the piston listed for the old rod number I say the "1mm shorter for the 450" myth is busted unless the cases are taller

trying to find a cheaper than original conrod kit for my -08 FE450. Seems to only be original or mx composites around.
I saw Taffmeister on ebay with the 1mm shorter conrod, but that does not feel right somehow.
Here in sweden the original conrod kit is about 360EUR and mx composites kit is about 1200EUR including taxes and stuff.
