I noticed my 650 Supermoto handled very well off-road and decided to try a larger front tire to make it even better. Shinko makes a 120/90-17 for about $60 which increases the outside diameter towards the 19" wheel size used on flat trackers, plus it has a much wider profile. Front end traction was improved to the point I can do stoppies in gravel. Try that on your stunt bike!

Pics or it didn't happen. Did you have to trim the fork guards?

You know… if you knew a guy with a 150 motard, you could let him run one on the rear for a couple track days, and/or a few races, then pull it off and put it on the front.

I forgot to mention the tires are Shinko 705's and they work fine on pavement too. The 120/90-17 on the front is actually wider than the 120/80-18 (also a Shinko 705) I run on the back of my XR650R. The front fork guard on the right side had to be trimmed slightly. I'll try to post up a picture.
