Trax Preston - Today

That's the one Jaymee, not sure of the set up today (from what was said on the phone think we now use the full "international circuit", but last time I went (about a year ago maybe), that right-hander was tarmac'ed (like a bumpy wall of death), and then you ran over a small dirt section as you crossed from one track section to another. This still took you up a fairly steep embankment & ski high before landing on the track again, great!!!

Attached is the current circuit layout, think the section may have been the bit I circled in blue. Anyway, should be a great session using the whole track.

Hope some people were able to make it? Was a good evening for it weather-wise.

Anyone go? Track feedback?

Cheers

Was gonna go, but meant finishing work at about half 3, and like the best made plans it went **** up. Had to finish what i started and finished work after 6

Will try harder to make the next one, hopefully i wont be as busy. You ever get to Rivington on a Sunday you guys?

Never been, but have heard of it several times. I see its near Chorley, so might venture up there on the Berg one Sunday. I think that's a good suggestion for a North-West meet?

However, forecast for this weekend is looking like more rain again unfortunately... :(

I made it down, eventually, didn't leave work til 5 and then had to load the bike ect when I got home! Made it for the final 2 sessions!

It was really quiet, 5 motards and 1 go kart! The track was good, used the dirt jump but the opposite way to when you ride the bottom track, so we took off on the tarmac and landed on the dirt, took me ages to get used to it!!

The fella said they're trying to keep running the motor but there's a lack of interest, I said I'd been to one of the Sunday sessions in June, but hadn't heard there were anymore until tonight, he told me they'd been open and no one has turned up! But there seems to have been a lack of advertising.

I paid £20 and got to ride my bike so I was happy! Just need to get there on time next time to get more laps in, I defo need the practice!!

Phoned Trax 5 minutes ago, and they're not doing any more arrive & ride sessions this year for definite.

Perhaps next year as we move into spring, they said to keep an eye on their web page.

Cheers
