FE250 Cold Start Issue

Hey all — new to the forum.

I have a 2013 FE250 that has had starting issues since I got it. I basically have to pull the idle button out and turn the idle all the way up for it to start. And once it does start up it boggs until the engine is fully warm (1-2 mins on a fast idle).

I've not taken it to 3 different mechanics and all 3 couldn't figure it out.

What I've done so far with no success of it getting better:

1. Replaced fuel pump
2. Replaced fuel filters (in tank and in line small one)
3. Replaced air filter
4. Had valves adjusted
5. Had fuel injector cleaned out

Anyone else have a similar issue? It's driving me crazy.

Did you do a compression test. Sounds like a piston issue to me. Not enough squeeze.

Have not tried that yet. Started with all the other things (fuel, valve related).
