Hope I got this in the right spot, I was hoping somewhere out there someone has a standard 09 triple clamp that they would like to sell, even a Force parts one would be cool. See " And I just changed my fork seals" for details of the broken one. PM me with any info please.
Hi Guys,
Can anyone explain how to change the triple clamp offset on an 09fe570?
They are stamped 18-20, the specs say stock is 19, so I am assuming they are adjustable.
Thanks in advance Steve
Hi Guys,
Not on a berg but it helps to explain triple clamp offsets.

can anyone tell me the diameter of the post where the two taper roller bearings fit please?

Does anyone know the offset of the triple clamp on an 04 FE 650.
I recently bought a newer second bike. The two bikes handle way different. I am trying to understand why. The new bike has an 18 mm offset.
For the first time today i used a torque wrench to tighten up my forks in the clamps. the settings i was given are 15 & 20 nm, this appeared very slack and i could tighten them up more with an allen key quite easily. are these settings correct or could something have worn in the clamps ?
Thinking of changing the triple clamps/yokes on my 03 400 to KTM ones, i know this has been done by some of you and there is a link. My question is will any KTM ones do the trick or do they have to be off a specific model or year
8O Is anyone using the 18mm offset triple clamps off a KTM and if so does it make much differance in the tight stuff? also , is there a way to make the gearbox less notchy even if u have to split the motor?
i was reading through the owners doc to try and find out if i can buy some general after market triple clamps or if i have to get new berg ones. Does anyone knowthe answer to this one.
