Were there two different methods of fuel delivery for the FE570?
There is no way the fuel block provided is going to mate what is on this bike. The power connection would be totally covered.
Are 3 and 4 in the parts breakdown (left photo) two different methods?
Middle photo is from Safari...
Hi!
I am building a bike based on a half-destroyed FE501, just finished repairing the frame and suspension and put in the new engine (it is a 125 two stroke). Dont worry, the original engine was total toast, a valve broke off and made some party in the cylinder finding its final resting place...
I have a fuel tank off a 2009 570.
Bulkhead fitting was leaking and I didn't want to mess with it.
Some of the bulkhead threads were no longer there, making it impossible to tighten the screws.
I assume someone could repair it, add an insert or otherwise.
Best offer if you want it, get it...
I am selling my brand new in the box - Dark Blue FS gas tank, Blue Shrouds and Husaberg shroud decal set. Includes gas cap, shroud screws and petcocks. I am offering this up here before I put it on Ebay.
Selling price is $250 plus actual shipping cost. This ad will stay up until 6/30/17. If it...
Hello i am looking for a big tank for my FE 400 of 1998. In particular I'm interested in the model produced by HSB with capacity of 19lt. art. N ° 390036-01.
Thanks so much.
Hi there,
I know that is quite difficult to find for an oversized tank for my 450 07 berg but just in case you have one left in the back of the garage. I am looking for a 4 gallon tank or even higher.
I have contacted to IMS, Clarke and Safari companies but no luck.
Thank you so much...
found this in the pile of stuff I bought:
i have tried to put it on my old 1998 FE600e i have here but unless the exhaust is altered...I don't think so!
But i reckon it might be off a quad?
it has a curved underside and two screw holes separated enough near that curve to say 'inner mudflap'...
I have a Clark tank in good condition to fit a 01-08 Husaberg. The tank has only been used a dozen times or so for long rides. No leaks.
250.00 located in Ontario Canada
I have a subframe tank without any of the hardware and wanted to see if anyone knows where I can find either the hardware or dwgs/CAD files of the parts. I can machine parts at work with a CNC or TIG weld if needed.
Thanks
Ok so yet again it seems that my 70deg tank is fixed (knock on wood!!!!).
The trouble is that there is a lot of pressure buildup inside the tank. Very often fuel spits out every hole posible. Through the airhose for example....
Ok so I didn't conect the two air hoses (from the front and the...
The good news is that my subframe tank is now fixed. Dont ask how yet, i'll try to do a write-up when its properly tested. The bad news is that somwhere during the process the fuel line that connects the two tanks has been lost. The one that has the qick-connect in the middle and that is shaped...
Hi, I'm doing a little project and wondered whether there is anyone out there who has already upgraded to the 70deg racing rear tank that has their old original kicking around gathering dust and wouldn't mind getting rid of it cheaply?
Looking for one of these, even better with California...
My 570 came with a 1.8 cap. Not sure what the stock should be. It occasionally boils in hot single tracks.
I made a simple reservoir/expantion system. It fills up the expansion tank when hot but never pulls it back in the rads when it cools down.
Question is that should I be using a lower...
Yeah, I know I'm looking for a unicorn... but if anyone can part with a subframe tank for my FE570 I'll pay top dollar, especially for a new generation one.
That one you have on your bike you are selling or have no need for, I'll put it to good use and will give you a like new OEM subframe if...
