    Noisey motor?

    I would like to know if anyone has found the reason why so many Husaberg engines make a awful wining noise. The reason i ask this is, because i have just fitted a electric start kit to my 550 fc and i have ended up with a mother of all wines. cookeye :wink:

    Starter Motor Engagement

    Finished the carb re-build this weekend along with battery re-charge and fit Optimate permanent connections. On starting the starter motor engaged off the button but then just started spinning as if not meshing properly. Now the SM either just spins without engaging or engages turns the motor...

    does any1 know wot this problem could be my starter spins up but does not turn the engine over bloke who repairs starters says nothing wrong with starter so???? had the casing off & all looks ok so im puzzled

    02 FE 501 starter motor problems

    :? I own a 2002 Fe 501 which starts great on the kick start but will not have it on the starter motor, it turns over fine but just won't start. I have been told that the carb, auto decompressor and valve clearences have to spot on, is this true? I am worn out after ever ride now, must get it...
