    09 FE570 Updated competition map & filter

Hey guys, did a little searching but haven't found much info on the service bulletin for the new map and filter. I have a CAN/US 09 so it already has the old comp map. Is the new one better? Change in fuel consumption or performance? Why is the new air filter cage needed? Thanks guys!

    FE570 Map Switch

I am making my own Map Switch as the Husaberg Map Switch is just too hard to change when you are at the bottom of a nasty hill and all your mates are shaking their heads while you are pulling your gloves off and trying to get to the switch. What could Husaberg have been thinking when they gave...

Berg HBD setup and MAP switch

Hey guys, Hopefully this the right place to post this. I've been working with Paul over at Highway Dirt Bikes to come up with a cool way to mount the MAP switch for our beloved Bergs. This is of course if you are running the HDB setup. Here's the first working prototype. If is very easy...

Gday, I ride at a medium pace and Im thinking of getting the Mapswitch. Can I get some feedback on the FE450 performance with the Mapswitch set on soft, for technical tracks and hill climbs, as Ive only ever ridden this bike with the power set on full from factory. Thanks in advance for any...

On the fly map switch - DIY !

After spending hours searching for the right components, risking few hundreds of $ for stocking them, and then having the headache of selling them (running to FedEx every couple of days) I decided to give up. It just too much work for too small profit. Therefore, I'm rolling the ball to...

    09 Map switch connector

Hi, The wiring into the map switch connector has broken on me due to not enough slack. The bike is still running ( 09 fe570) and it seems to be in performance mode where i had it set, unless it reconfigures on start up. It seems to be a sealed connector, is there any way of rewiring into the...

On the fly injection map Sw. I just did one...

I didn't like Berg (or KTM690) OEM key. The whole idea of changing map according to the terrain is great, but if you need to stop, to remove gloves, to remove the rubber cup, to twist the base, to rotate it to the map you want, to put back the rubber cup and to put back the gloves...you got...

Be careful with original Map Switch

The original map switch has rubber cover for protection from water and mud. The problem is that it is very hard to remove the cover. With one hand I held the connector for support and with the other I was peeling off the rubber cover. Obviously this was not the correct way, as my Map Switch is...

    Map Switch, clarification

So, it seems if all I want is to be able to select the agressive map, I should be able to make a 2 position switch, 1 position open circuit for the standard, and 1 position with 6800 ohms? Correct? Anyone done this? Does it work on the fly?

    Map Switch

The map switch for the new berg isnt exactly a quick change sort of switch. Is there differant swich's out there or is the map switch we have now it. It takes way too long to chage maps, the Sherco 510's switch is quick no cover to take off and replace. ?????????????????????

    Map switch connector/ plug.

When installing a headlight on a 09 450 I noticed that one of the wires heading into the map switch connector had been sheared off at the base of the connector itself by a zip ty. The wire that is still remaining is not long enough to do anything with. I am curious if anyone may know where to...

    Map switch

Just curious if anyone has installed the map switch yet. What's required to get it to work? Is there a noticeable difference in the maps? Can you install the switch, set your bike to performance, then remove the switch? Dalton

I have just got back on a berg after a brief 2 smoke stint the first thing i have noticed is the lack of being able to get the power down in slippy conditions like hill climbing and off cambers compared to a 2 smoke the power seems to aggressive and wheel spin is innevitable.I am looking at...
