Wheel Maintenance - Spoke Torque Wrench

I'm deciding to purchase a spoke torque wrench (Fasstco Brand) and just want some feedback from the members on what they use to keep their wheels in tip-top shape. Husaberg (FE400 2001) spoke nipples are approximately 7.0mm. The Fasstco has a 7.1mm splined head which is the closest to our...

    Fork oil level limits, maintenance

Hi, Is the oil level limit within 100 to 140 mm on a WP 4860MA Husaberg Enduro? Is changing oil again enough or shall I disassemble the fork? Should be something like 100 hours but the fork seems to work well. Regards,

As "good" but less maintenance SuperMotard ???

I guess this is the question rising from a man with family, but with a great passion for motorcycles. I have already 2 FLSTCs with them done Sturgis twice (96-97). Now I live here in Italy, with nothing but wine, cheece and curvy roads. I have Monster 1000 with 99% reliability and 30000kms...

    2005 Maintenance Schedule

It looks like nothings changed in the maintenance department. In fact it looks like things have got significantly worse ! Look at the 2005 schedule (now on the Husaberg website). Valve clearance checks every 15 hours, on my 2002 I do it every 30 hours and that is probably too often. Who on...

    Berg maintenance Q's

As I ponder my the future as a berg owner, I am reminded of something - my days as a CanAm owner. Sigh. I am referring to the additional frame tubes running from the swingarm pivot forward to the mid point of the backbone - these make carb servicing and jetting a nightmare. How is this...

200 hours! Maintenance Schedule, how important is it????????

As my bike was a "demo" it is difficult to gauge the "actual" hours usage, but I would think it is some where around the 200 hours if not more! So after reading the maintenance schedule I was shocked to notice that it should have had some "major" surgery performed by now? ie, timing chain &...

    Gear selector mechanism maintenance

Hi folks, I have seen a number of comments about needing to get to the gear selector mechanism and clean it up once in a while. My 650 gearshift is starting to get quite notchy and tight - is this the symptom? If so does anyone know of a link to a technical "how to" write up? I have...
