Hi guys,
I've bought an 04 FE450E, with a broken kick starter lever. I would like to replace it, but can't seem to find one anywhere second hand (tried Ebay etc. to no avail). Do you know if there is another starter lever that fits the berg? I tried one from a KTM LC4, way too big... I'm in...
I need to remove the kickstarter in order to disassemble my engine but the thing won't budge. Is there any trick to it or do I just have to go and get a puller?
thanks,
nick
I finally got around to doing the clean up on my bike after the Phx ride two weeks ago and this is what I found.
I did the kick start shaft replacement last september and ever since have had an unusual amount of leakage from the rear end portion of my transmission cover. After talking with...
I have an 05 FE450e with about 30 hours on it.
When I first got her I noticed the brake lever felt a bit spongier than the jap bike I was used to,.. but overlooked it because i was so in love with everything else about the bike.
A couple of rides ago, the lever was pulling right into the...
Hi All,
Crashed the Berg and apart from the seven stitches in my knee (what's the best knee guards?), I broke the clutch bracket at the handlebar.
It broke between the bolt and the "roll" pin behind the the lever assembly itself. Is this replaceable, or do I have to replace the whole thing...
I noticed that, when I pull the decompressor lever, the cable pulls a lever on the right side of the engine, towards the front. What it does too it give some slack in a horizontal cable that runs towards the rear, to another lever, on the left side.
But the rear lever does not budge, ever. I...
I have a FX470 02. I bought a new kick start lever and when I put it on the bike it rubed on the case at the boss. I can shave the lever but I'm wondering if I need to remove the case and see if some thing is out of plase in side. The sholder on the spline shaft only extends about .03 in from...
For some reason my kick start lever will no longer stay "tucked in" against the motor. Every time I lean to the left while riding, the kick start lever swings out. Last fall I suffered a very painful contusion on the inside of my left leg, just above the knee, when the end of the kick start...
Was having a look over the bike the other day and I noticed there is is a bit of back and forth play in the shaft the gear lever is attached to. Is this normal?
Sorry this ain't exactly Husaberg, but does anyone (preferably in Oz but shipping may be an option) happen to have a spare gear lever return spring to suit a '96 TE Husqvarna that they would be prepared to sell? They are probably the same from '92 onwards.
I can't go too far 'cause my mate's...
I guess the kick lever would be considered mechanical..
Anyway, I picked up my 02 FX470 yesterday and noticed there's not a bolt in the kick lever to hold it on. I doubt it will come off but I would like to put something in there to make sure. Can anyone tell me the thread size of the bolt...
