I need a fan, and I'm not interested in rigging up a cpu fan... I can't find any comparisons between the Dirt Tricks fan and the KTM fans. Can't even find any specs on the KTM fans.
I have Boss Radiator guards, if that matters.

Any opinions? I'm really surprised a...
After talking to some people on the forum I decided to build my own fan kit. I took pictured and wrote down the steps in case someone else wanted to wire their own.
Hi does anyone know where I can get a 90'C thermo plug for the radiator fan in Australia?
I looked at the ones in the states but they want around $25 just for postage pfffft.
Does anyone know what type of power connector the radiator fan uses to connect to the bike? Or the part number for it? I pulled up the wiring Harness at http://www.cyclebuy.com/husaberg/manuals/2011_FE390.pdf but I'm not sure which connector is used to power the fan.
I just picked up a low mileage 2011 570 fe. The bike had never had the factory headlight installed, just the number plate. I fitted and plugged everything in but no light. No high beam, no low beam, nothing. There is no power at the connector but the fuses under the seat are all good...
Hi Guys,
I'e spent the days looking at gallery pics and reading backwards regarding fitment of a cooling fan to my 04' 550. I'm running the 06 up tank so there's a ton of room on the rhs to locate it.
I've been trying to understand just how the standard kit of say the 06 mounts...

i commute in 35 degree plus heat (peak hour traffic), so i fitted the fan kit, that thermo switch kicks in way too late i reckon. does anyone know if there is a switch available with a lower threshold temperature?
Hi,
Have recently purcahsed a Fan kit for my 2012 FE390.
I've read the instructions, what i wanted to know is does the Husaberg radiator need to be removed to fit the fan kit, or can it be installed on the bike.

Hello all...
I have a 2010 FE450 with a radiator fan installed (dealer). On the last two rides (very technical, gets really hot, fan always coming on), my fan just stops working after an hour or two of riding. The first time, after the ride I checked the fuse and it was blown, so I replaced it...

Hi folks, I just installed new KTM fan kit on my '11 FE390 after having a couple of steamer incidents. Now fan runs always. This morning my garage was 8 deg celsius and fan still runs. Disconnected two terminals on thermostatic switch and fan still runs. Bad thermoswitch? Or did I mess up the...
I saw a topic few months back about this issue but cant find it now.
How can i remove the tank from my 09 Berg without destroying anything, and yes the bike has a cooling fan?

I have decided to upgrade to 06/08 tank on my fs650 04 to put a fan on bike , does anyone know if the KTM fan kit part #59035041044 will be ok these seem to be far cheaper than the husaberg ones listed on ebay ect. I will not be using thermostat (switch will be fine) not sure if wire conections...
so i got my fan kit all installed and everything went smooth, now i want to make sure it operates as it should but i cant seem to get the fan to come on- ideas?
is this the radiator fan connector (red & green plug)? it has a brown/black wire and a black wire running into it. it was capped and not in use. the two white plugs are the wiring kit included with the radiator fan. or is the actual plug really up under the gas tank and i have to take it...
When I installed my fan kit, the directions showed a rubber boot that covers the wire connectors on the thermo switch. My kit didn’t contain a rubber boot. I just have individual insulators on the spade clips and unprotected lead wires. Did anyone else get a kit without the rubber boot? Thanks.
Going to install my fan kit and found all the mounting holes filled with Silicone. :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: I have not heard of any one talking about this before so it must be from the previous owner. Not an easy thing to remove.
