Most of you know I am a big guy who found my Fe450 to be a fantastic woods bike, but coming up short in the Desert. Well actually I now have discovered the 450 is a great Desert and open bike too. It was not coming up short at all. It was coming up TALL.

Took my 03 501 out to the west Utah desert Saturday. It was the first time I really got to see what the bike would do out in the open. The 501 was great. The suspension, handling and motor performance was awesome. The motor ran great with the Amsoil 10/40 in 40 degree weather as well.
