compatibility

Graphics aside, the frame and plastics on my 2003 FE400 looks identical to a newer 450. Are they? The reason I ask is although it is fairly easy to find replacement plastic, graphics, rad guards, skid plates...for a newer 450, 400 parts are hard to come by. Is there any cross-compatibility...

The 2001 Husaberg parts list lists the stator as being 01- onwards. Is this stator still compatible for previous years? In particular 2000? cheers, Simon

Does anyone know if Husaberg SEM ignition/coil/stator can be installed on a 1988 Husqvarna TE 510 4-stroke liquid cooled enduro? Replacement parts through Husqvarna/Cagiva have been discontinued. Husaberg's US distributer tells me that Husaberg SEM parts are still avilable, but was not sure...

I wonder what electrical parts from an 02 FC 550 would fit on an 01 FE 501e. The gentleman who's parting out his bike has quite a lot left and I wonder if I could get that type of parts (ignition and starter) for keepsake in case something goes wrong in my bike. Thanks!
