I have just purchased an 04 FE 550 with a blown crank. Can anybody point me to a new/s hand crank and piston? Rest of the motor is perfect. Is there a better fix for this model. Do not know a lot about the early bergs. Am I better off with a later engine? Whats the best way to fix this??

I bought a "new" 2007 fe 550. At the purchase there was some oil on the case below the oil filter cover, didn't think much of it until I rode it and oil was spewing out. Husaberg apparently claims that the oil filter cover screws needed teflon, but that didn't work. Now the dealer is replacing...

Can a 05 550 motor be made into a 650? Can you just swap in a 650 crank assembly? I know the bore size is the same but are the cases and deck height the same? If so, are 650 cranks available? Thanks for any advice.
