I recently won a cilinder head of a 650 '02 on ebay, is it possible to use it on my FE400? (had the idea of flowing this head and then put it on my 400 engine.) Will there be any power gain (bigger valve's?) Note: I only won the cilinder head, not the rocker cover.

400 piston (y2k - '03) i need the deck height? as it says, anyone swapped one out for another or gone up in CC etc etc? the height i need is from tthe top (or bottom) of the gudgeon (wrist) pin to the edge of the piston within 0.1mm? regards Taffy

i've had this bike for about a year and never let me down up until this weekend. the property was 60000 acres so big high speed riding but when it hot it was impossible to start without a pull start behind a big bear quad(very embarasing) somebody help me gain my pride back.

I reacently boughht a 400 FE from 2000 and in my third ride i broke de swing arm , the needle bearings have turn to dust and desapear from the swing arm, i d like to know if any other swing arm from other models , more recente ones, can fit in my bike.

i have the opportunity to buy a 37 mm FCR from a Yam 250. Would that make any sense on the 400? It's only 1 mm smaller then the dellorto 38 mm but probably a lot more responsive. Arjen

dale please? i once read that the ignition curve of the SEM isn't quite spot on. would however the CDIs from the coil be different twixt 400/501/550/650? if so does it help to fit one from one model to hop up another? regards Taffy
