Once again, my bike has failed me. It quit on the final lap, about 1 mile from the finish of the Funky Chicken National last weekend. I just got it apart today, and am pretty sure the problem lies with the electrical connector right at the fuel injector. Well, that and possibly a damaged wire...

I'm on the lookout for a FE570. A friend of a friend has a 2009 FE450 that is due for a top end rebuild and I think I could get it for a good price. I'm trying to determine if it's a simple as getting a 570 cylinder and piston and hooking it up? Or is that asking for trouble? thoughts please.
