I've come to realize that my starter (hot restart) is useless. It's not enough power to start the bike cold & when it's warm it starts first kick, no problem. I'm thinking about ditching the starter & battery. Any conceivable problems you Husaficionado's can clue me into before I dig into this?

Hi Guys, My FE470 2002 has no spark. SEM Stator Readings are: Black to Green = 161.9 ohms. Black to Red = 22800 ohms. Black to Red in the Doc says should be 3000 ohms. Mine looks really high.! Is my Stator toast.? Thanks Colin
