My 2000 FE600 starts fine (kick) cold with the choke on - 2nd or 3rd kick. Its ok hot sometimes. It was a problem hot but I found if I switched the fuel off before the engine it started ok - on investigation I found one float full of fuel..replaced it..needle & seat seemed ok > that improved...

I have an extra of the under seat .75 gallon gas tanks and someone who is interested in it wants to know if it will fit a year 2000 'berg. I know engines and plastic changed from 2000 to 2001 but I don't know if the frames did. Does anyone know if the tank will fit? Greg
