I don't think so as yours is a non e-start model. As it was just posted the e-start cases, frames and header pipes are different on pre 2000 model year Bergs.

Wouldn't it be nice if Husaberg sold complete motors. Just a few different ones would be necessary. There seems to be a lot of interest in the older Bergs. I would never sell my 97 Fx 600. It is the ultimate sand wash machine. With its raked out front end which offers great high speed stability to its very low seat height it is my favorite for smooth sand blasting.

Darn!

I need a new piston, wrist pin and a few other various odds and ends for my engine and it seems like it would be cheaper to just purchase a whole engine to put in!

Ah well. Thanks for the reply!!!!!!

E-start would have been kinda nice though.....

Hi Tim,
With exception of main cases all hard parts will interchange with your existing engine If the price is right the investment could still prove cost worthy.

E start motor crankshafts are the same as non E start?

No.
However they will interchange providing the "E" start crankshaft is properly modified to operate minus the balance shaft. (ie re-balance)
