Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster and yep, I just got myself a Husaberg after riding Orange for many years. So there I am perusing the threads regarding fuel tanks and I see this nice looking sub mount for the Scotts damper. I have looked around and pm'ed the poster but no luck yet. Can anyone tell me who the manufacturer of this Scotts mount is?

Cheers, Digs

OK....I'll bite.
How about Scotts? I know they make them for the 09/10.

I think maybe scotts as well.
BRP (just moved shop to Colorado) also make a good sub mount for scotts, about $60 i think, very good service.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the input.
I have received feedback from the bikes owner that the sub mount for this Scotts dampner was machined locally and is not commercially available. As I am sure you know there are lots of firms out there who make various mounts for the Scotts unit and this one looked pretty good to me, less weight maybe.

I currently use a sub mount made by Pro-Tect Enduro, here's a pic.

Submounts for the 18/20 KTM work just fine. The trick is the steering stem clamp post. The one shown resembles the one in the Husaberg Hard Parts catalog.

Scotts also makes a fine sub mount that I use on my bike. As well as the tower pin. They had my bike for the mule so I know that the fittment is good.
