lots of uk riders signed up so where are we all from?

mine's in the scribble: soham near ely, cambs (yes where holly and jessica went missing) i race 80% and green lane 15% (just to set everything up) with one or at best two MX practices per year at chippenham, swaffham and mildenhall.

i race at banovallum in lincs, chiltern hills, south reading, TBEC, very few eastern centre this year and the occasional south wirral. 25 races a year normally.

i've owned my FE400e for 30 months and done **** loads to it to keep it in good racing trim.

let me know where y'all from now y'all hear now!

Hi All

I'm from North Wales (about 5 miles West of Chester). I'm pretty new to this off-road game - done a few H&Hs and training days with Wirral Off-Road (mostly off-bike actually  )

Love the bike (2002 FE400e), although she's had the usual problems (stator, e-starting, wiring etc), I've enjoyed getting her just right (with excellent support from my local dealer: Melvin at SS Racing). I'm a glutton for punishment really, never have followed the crowd, (Laverda's, Ducati, Triumph etc), but I think the more you put in the more you get out. That said, I do whizz round race tracks on a H*nda 600!

Best regards

Hello,

Just moved to Basingstoke, Hampshire. Originally from Southend, Essex. Went to uni in Guildford, Surrey.

Like the motard roads in Hampshire.

Lloyd.

Hi peeps,
Moved to Brighton 17 months ago from Stockport (South Manchester).

Hate the motard roads down here (not enough bendybits) so make many a trip up to the peaks/lakes twisties to terrorise the plastic fraternity.

Also spend some weekends on mx track at back of house but would like to get some cheap racing in on the FC. Any ideas Taffy?

'kin essential site for bergers.

fish

there is a web site somewhere for the southern enduro club or SEEC something like that. i'll be at maldon over saturday and sunday this weekend with the chiltern hills club. they race just 15 miles from the south reading club.

go to the bob mullins web site and download regs from there.

the cheapest racing is at the clubs i have recommended as they don't have to be bona fida enduro models etc.

Hi all,

I'm from Sittingbourne in Kent. Only had the 'berg for a couple of months after a year of owning a Kramit (even more obscure than a 'berg).

I race mainly, with a bit of greenlaning when I can get the time. I mainly race with TBEC and Chiltern Hills and a couple of local MX clubs who put on 5 or 6 enduro's a year, but do the Welsh Rallies as well.

I will be at the CHEC 2 day this coming weekend with Col Spicer who also owns a 'berg.

Taffy I'll look out for you. We will be in a big LDV high top painted blue and yellow!

i know he of the vertically challenged!

yes see you there and let me know whether you're staying overnight, band and all that! with all my mates stopping this year i'm on my jack thomas.

that's part of the reason i haven't raced or ridden for 6-8 weeks...

Taffy,

Now that really made me panic.........you have got my rider number !! I've just looked on the CHEC website and noticed that I've disapeared. Just spoken to Wayne who tells me someone has 'phoned and told him that rider 110 had broken his leg and wouldn't be riding !!

I am now back in and will get my riding number on Saturday.

We are camping and will be getting there on Friday evening (probably very late) The others in our group will be getting there at about 7 or 8 ish.

You can't miss Col's van........blue with a big yellow stripe around the middle.....very Husaberg.

Come and find us, we'll save you a tent space.

my regular number with all my clubs is 102 so i was a little suprised as i have been 102 with ChEC already this season.

i'll crash in the MPV.

Hi all, I'm Jared and live in Hayle in Cornwall although i'm currently doin some travelling in Canada. Will be back the same time as the welsh 2 day so miss that but should be doing the DYFI in wales which is a great event and of course Weston beach race - wouldnt miss it for any thing now! i have a 1997 FE501e which just about everything has gone wrong with ie stator, wiring, e start clutch, piston, bore cracked, water pump, and the usual head problems! Still love it though.

Hi all,
Live in the East Midlands, not far from Donington park, great place for moto orads, at the foot of the Peak, plenty of rice rocket bashing to be had!!
Just have the Berg650 in moto trim, also own a tricked up Rotax CCM, but bought the Berg for mainly track use, there's an awesome moto track in Mid Wales for anyone thats interested? Go to www.supermotech.com and look in the events for details, me and my mate Bep help organise them, its as good as it sounds.............. :D
Going there this weekend, bit short notice but come along if you can.
Not had the Berg for long, glad i found this site, hopefully will help keep the bike running, got to admit i'm a bit paranoid that it'll go bang at the minute, 8O but i guess i shouldn't listen to all my mates ribbing me...
Exhaust system and headwork are on the list, anyone recommend/sell me a decent aftermarket system?? :?:
Got to finish by saying I love my Berg, in the short time i've owned it, its brought a massive grin to my face, and i woke my wife up in bed the other night dreaming i was on it!! How sad is that, i thought her arm was the throttle!! Chinese burn......oowwch!

Live up North aye right up North beside Aberdeen. Got me a 650 Berg last year and its great just waiting for supermoto racing to start in Jockland but its a bit slow. Supposedly starting Aug 8th so will hopefully get the feet wet. If not will have to load up the old horse and cart and travel south as I can't afford to have all this kit sitting just for the odd track days. This site is great with loads of info and help and even the odd witty person. Hope to meet up with some of you someday for a crack face to face.

Cheers Mitch.

By the way anyone know a good place to get your name on your leathers with a quick turn around.

Remember and change the oil or it'll go boom !!!!!!!

schwim

can you interrogate mitchie immediately! we need to find out who this "witty" person is. totally out of character with this site i must say!

:( :( :( :( :( :( :(
