When you're not riding motorcycles or wrenching on one in the garage, what other hobbies and interests do you have?

We'll if buying parts for my bike doesn't count then I do a lot of deer and duck hunting.

All the guys across the river were fishing for fun. (shad)

Striped Bass is fun to catch too, and more tasty.

I like to build hi-fi gear - electronics, speakers. Here are a couple of pics of an amplifier I built for a friend. It's a modified 41Hz Amp4 kit, a very very musical and dynamic Tripath Class-D amp. It sounds RIDICULOUSLY good - I can state this flat out as I have no part in the sound except for assembling the kit.

There are about 100W of ultra-clean power per channel. Found a very nice Danish-designed wooden box for it. Knobs scavenged from dead '70s amp. The status LEDs are hidden with seals made from expensive and perfumed Swiss-made sealing wax. The wax + LEDs turned out very nice - the LED shows up as a faint flickering glow inside the seal.

thats a nice job Tourist

I used to play with electronics as a kid, built also from kits, none looked so nice as that wooden case though.
